Campaign Manager

The Campaign Manager allows you to send bulk email campaigns directly from PMTAcore. Upload your recipient list, create or select a template, configure your sending settings, and launch your campaign.

Creating a Campaign

  1. Go to Campaign Manager from the sidebar.
  2. Click New Campaign.
  3. Upload your recipient list – a CSV or text file with email addresses.
  4. Create your email template or select an existing one. You can use HTML for rich formatting.
  5. Configure the From name, From email, subject line, and reply-to address.
  6. Select which SMTP server(s) to send through.
  7. Click Start Sending.

Recipient Lists

Upload a CSV or text file with one email address per line. For best results, validate your list using the Email Validator before sending to reduce bounces.

Templates

You can create HTML email templates with personalization tags. The campaign manager supports basic merge fields so you can customize each email.

Sending Options

  • SMTP Server Selection – Choose which server(s) to send through. You can distribute sending across multiple servers.
  • Sending Speed – Control the sending rate to avoid overwhelming your servers.

Monitoring

While a campaign is running, you can see real-time progress including emails sent, pending, and any errors. You can pause or stop a campaign at any time.

Best Practices

  • Always validate your email list before sending
  • Start with a small test batch to verify everything looks correct
  • Use proper From addresses that match your domain's DNS records
  • Include an unsubscribe link in your emails
