Upgrading Your License
You can upgrade your PMTAcore license to a higher plan at any time. The system calculates a pro-rated credit based on your remaining days, so you only pay the difference.
How Upgrading Works
- Go to your Dashboard
- Find the license you want to upgrade
- Click the Upgrade button
- You'll see your current plan details and remaining credit
- Select a new plan — the price shown is after deducting your credit
- Review the upgrade summary and click Pay & Upgrade
Pro-Rated Credit
When you upgrade, the system calculates how many days are left on your current plan and converts that into a dollar credit. This credit is subtracted from the new plan's price.
For example, if you have 90 days remaining on a 6-month plan worth $199, your credit would be approximately $90. If you upgrade to the Lifetime plan ($499), you'd only pay around $409.
Which Plans Can You Upgrade To?
You can only upgrade to a higher-tier plan:
- Free Trial → 6 Months, 1 Year, or Lifetime
- 6 Months → 1 Year or Lifetime
- 1 Year → Lifetime
If the credit from your current plan fully covers the new plan, the upgrade is free.
After Upgrading
Your license key stays the same — only the plan and expiration date change. The upgrade takes effect immediately. You don't need to re-activate the license in the desktop app; it will pick up the new plan on the next verification check.
